Cheryl Hall-Russell
President and CEO
Cheryl Hall-Russell oversees both the Hill House Association and the Hill House Economic Development Corporation. She manages senior staff, serves as a board member for both the HHA and the HHEDC, leads fundraising initiatives, and participates in strategic planning and policy development. A seasoned nonprofit executive, she uses her almost 20 years of nonprofit experience in economic development, youth services, human resources and advocacy to ensure the Hill House achieves its goals and mission. She is an author and researcher having published articles and books on the traditions of ethnic philanthropy.
Marvin Prentice
Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
As Senior Vice President and COO of the Hill House, Marty manages the day-to-day operations of the Hill House, which includes five program areas that serve more than 70,000 each year, and five buildings, which make up the Hill House campus. Marty is an eighth degree Karate black belt, instructor, and president of Isshinryu Karate Academy. His commitment to martial arts began 46 years ago in a summer youth program provided at Hill House’s Blakey Center (formerly the Kay Boys Club).
Tony Bell
Vice President and Chief Program Officer
Tony Bell joined the Hill House in 1984 and has served in a number of capacities including case manager, coordinator of the Fathers Program, and director of Hill House Senior Services. In his current position as Chief Program Officer, he is a driving force in the design, innovation, and implementation of more than 30 programs that span the Hill House’s five program areas. Tony was born and raised in the Hill District and attended many Hill House programs as a child.
Terri Baltimore
Vice President, Neighborhood Development
Terri Baltimore is the Hill House’s community ambassador overseeing the agency’s arts programs and managing its interests in a variety of community settings. She is at the forefront of some of the most creative and dynamic programs the Hill House offers and also oversees the Hill House Community Collaborative, a powerful program that assists recovering women and their children. She is a member of the neighborhood’s network of “green” organizations working on environmental initiatives. As one of the Hill District’s unofficial historians, Terri frequently provides tours of the historic community.
Alice Logan
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Alice Logan has been with the Hill House for 15 years and has served in a number of key capacities including Controller and Director of Finance. She currently manages the agency’s multi-million dollar annual budget and oversees all financial operations including payroll and benefits for more than 100 employees and Hill House’s fiduciary relationships. She is the primary liaison with auditors and investment managers for the agency’s defined benefits plan, reserve funds, and 401(k).
