Once released I was determined not to be another statistic—another ex-con repeating the mistakes of the past. I didn’t have much family to lean on, but I found support in the Hill House Father’s Program. I am grateful to the Hill House because today I’m a community coordinator, reaching out to young people so that instead of spending life in a jail cell, they can live free and achieve their dreams.
