“I was a single mom with an addiction.”
My life was off track. So often, we insist that our way is the only way. But if we open our hearts and lives, and welcome the guidance of others, things change. I know, because that has been my path. I just celebrated 12 years of sobriety thanks to the support of my church and the Hill House Collaborative, an amazing group of women supporting women, on the journey of becoming clean, healthy, providing moms. Today, I’m a case manager at the Light of Life Rescue Mission where I share my experiences to help others.
