Mission Discovery
This award-winning after school partnership with the Carnegie Science Center offers real world science and technology experiences for middle school students. Mission Discovery will soon expand to include all Carnegie Museums offering (Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and The Andy Warhol Museum) arts and culture programs to all students grades K-12.
Tutoring
Individual assessments insure that students receive the tutoring support they need to succeed academically.
Homework Assistance
Assistance with homework assignments helps students stay focused, keep up with lesson plans and practice their academic discipline.
Literacy and Numeracy
This partnership with community elementary schools offers literacy and numeracy support for children grades K-3 who are not performing at grade level.
Remediation
A review of classroom lessons helps address kids' unanswered questions and prepare them for homework challenges and the next day's lesson.
Life Skills
Lessons in decision making and choosing the right friends help kids stay on track in school and in life.
Health and Wellness
Nutritious snacks and recreation are part of Youth Services' daily programming. Kids Shape, a program focused on maintaining healthy weight is offered as part of Youth Services wellness program.
Summer Camps
Youth Services brings summer to life with academic enrichment, fresh air camps, field trips, arts, culture and music.
